I love this perspective and have sometimes done gratitude practices where I am literally giving thanks for every part of my body, that includes all of my senses, as well as my cells, my blood, my brain, my breath, my DNA and RNA, my nervous system, my skin, all of my organs.

Another unique perspective I bring to gratitude practices (which I shall write an essay about! 😀) is how gratitude can be not only about what we are experiencing in the present moment, but also for everything we have experienced in the past—the resilience we gained, the lessons learned, the fond memories and adventures— as well as gratitude for the future, the blessings on the way, our future selves & loved ones, and all that lies ahead.

Gratitude = past + present + future.

Welcome and thank you for subscribing to my publication and joining my community here, John. I restacked this with pleasure. I know a kindred spirit when I find one! Well met. 🤗
