The Shrine of Should
Stop "shoulding" all over yourself
Essence
You have been “shoulding” all over yourself for far too long.
Should do better.
Should try harder.
Should have known.
Should be further along by now.
Every “should” is a stone placed on your chest—heavy with expectation, sharp with judgment, soaked in guilt.
You have been building a shrine to your own inadequacy, one “should” at a time.
Worshiping at the altar of never enough.
Making offerings to the gods of approval and perfection.
Measuring your worth by invisible standards that shift every time you get close.
This is the place where your truth gets buried beneath “how it’s supposed to look.”
Where sacred action becomes spiritual obligation.
Where your fire dims under the weight of doing it “right.”
The chains were never locked.
You placed them there yourself—one expectation at a time.
Now they fall.
