These words are what I keep coming back to too John. All the time. And I think in between I fought with it because they've been so overused before that I believed they had lost their magick. But when reading your work, I simply sat with what those words meant to me. That's it. Period. Didn't give a shit about anything else...and something returned again.
Here are the words that deeply sit with me in this moment: Remembrance. Gifts. Power. Dharma. Sankalpa. Bloom. Source/Temple.
I have never heard of Sankalpa and just looked it up, and I can absolutely see why it is among the words that sit deeply with you. Thank you for sharing. I believe when words are used with intention and meaning, while being supported in the work being done it does sit differently. This journey you write about reminds me of a young man I knew in high school. On the outside, he looked so free and open, even doing very elaborate dance moves to Madonna's Vogue. His smile always radiant and his heart open for laughter and hugs anytime, never knowing the actual struggles he was going through.
